My Reading Journey, at the lake.....is
one of those books that you do not
want to end.......I am just beginning to
really know this man - this painter.
Many things a bout him remind me of my
self - and some do not!
For all artists out there and reading this
Blog - I think you might enjoy !
The painter is Jim Stegner - a man
who likes his own company and yet is in
conflict with himself about life
and his art. Does this sound familiar
with any of you???
He has suffered a horrible loss; and, moves from one art scene to another....... and in his
love life as well. The book is made of romance, death, grief, anger and even violence.
The author is Peter Heller, who has put forth in this book, a remarkable journey
of exploration of the human mind, heart and creating what an artist must do.
Peter Heller is a major contributor to NPR and is author of poetry
fiction and non-fiction -
