"The Art Of Elegance"

Elegance may be described as quality of grace, the quality of graciousness . . .

the quality of tastefulness . . . .  the quality of simplicity. . . .  the quality of

good manners and goodness in design and soul.

The Hotel Lenhart fulfills each of these words . . .  each definition.

This is a century old hotel which has been owned and hosted by the same family

for 136 years. 

It is located in Bemus Point, NY.   And, is famous for it's lovely and large

veranda with more than 40 multi-colored rockers.  And, has been the summer

home for hundreds of families over the century.

I was fortunate to be taken back into the loveliness of fine dinning, a famous

Lenhart Rocker in the Lamplighter Room, the simplicity of reading and rocking and

meeting people who are of the same interests and "get" the sounds and smells of

Lake Chautauqua..  It was a gift to share these days with dear friends, Tom &

Laura Gromofsky.

As I say, Art comes in so many forms - writing, cooking,, capturing ones' travels and

so forth.  I believe there is also an "art" to reading.  That is,  instilling the love of reading in
