Finally, I updated my Art Gallery

remain that fans of my work have

wished to stay - some of those

pieces are in fact owned by

collectors of my art. Other

pieces are new to the Gallery but

may have appeared in my Blogs.

this is a first time published. Hope

Art Trip To Franklin & Oil City, Pa. ~One Artist's Journey~

~A Peak Into Ann's Studio~

~ Witherup House Bed & Breakfast in Franklin,

where my girlfriend and I stayed on Aug 10 and 11.

I had an appointment to meet with the Curator of

several Art Galleries; and chose this lovely, lovely

Bed and Breakfast for our stay. I chose it for

reasons - The history, the location, fresh produce,

And, the Life Long Learning carry through of

Marty and Ann - our host and hostess.

~~Art On Our Balcony ~

~~ Ann and Marty provide a healthy and delicious

breakfast with local produce and home made baked

goods. And, guests can also come to attend work-

shops through out the year related to "green" living

and building.. The bedrooms are lovely and elegantly

designed for comfort. And the architect inside and

out is breath taking. We enjoyed the balcony

off our room along with a bottle of wine graciously

given to us by Marty and Ann. Morning coffee was real New Orleans with frothed

milk. They lived in New Orleans for 18 years before returning to Franklin.

~ Autumn is approaching soon and it would be

a weekend get a way to Franklin and an over night

stay with Ann and Marty. The Witherup House is

located at 828 Liberty St., and within walking

distance to all the art galleries, theatre, The

Champagne Cupcake Cafe and unique dinning.

~~The art adventure will continue in the next Blog. I

was introduced to many versatile and marvelous

artists - both in galleries and their personal studios

and the Curator honored me at a lunch with some

of these marvelous artists.

"New Work In Progress - One Artist's Journey"

"White Series I "

Finally, baby steps back to the studio. There has been time in the past few weeks and for reasons not written here - that I decided to never do my art again. What is it that has been said and I do not remember who - that artists are either insane or tortured in some way. . . . A small group of very close friends were without words when I made this announcement.

Out of the blue, 3 incidents happened that seems to have turned my sails in another direction - perhaps a sign.

Tomorrow, I am taking several pieces of my art to new galleries who would like to represent my art. A dear friend is going with me and I am looking forward to meeting with the curator and also staying at a lovely bed and breakfast - the owners who have already made me feel welcome and at home. The Journey continues . . . . . . . .
