~ The Art Of Not Knowing"
As I have written, art comes in many forms. Today, art came in the form of
"not knowing". Now, I admit that there are many, many things that I do not know. But,
today's "not knowing" came as an absolute surprise. A very happy surprise!
Since the time I began writing my Blogs, I have had so many wonderful comments,
"likes" and "in person" people telling me how much they enjoy what I write or how much they
like
seeing my art. Other's have written snail mail and email and private messages telling me
how a particular Blog made a positive difference in their day.
But, still . . . . you just never know who is reading your posts and Blogs
You just NEVER know.!
Today, I received a package in the mail. An unexpected package. I was excited! I was
stunned.
An unplanned package - what surprise could it hold? You just never know!!
Inside I found a book, "I'm Too Young To Be Seventy . . . And Other Delusions",
along with a beautifully hand written note on fine stationary. It almost brought me to
my knees. This individual, is a very, very accomplished artist and talented and giving
person. We are Facebook friends; But. . . . . I have not seen her for a good two years.
She said, in her note,
that "reads my posts regularly and enjoys them greatly".
I want her to know what a difference she made in my day. Who would have known,
that she was thinking of me as she read my posts - enough to gift me with a book
that she has enjoyed so much, herself. I am touched beyond words.
So, I say, "you just never know............"
