I'm a little late, Shirley, but wanted to let you know how much I love this photograph. The colors are amazing. I hope you did have a great Thanksgiving, and are now ready for Christmas and New Year's! Martha - How nice to find your comments! I really was happy to find this note. I too, was in awe of the colors and hues and how everything was reflected in the water. Nature is so fascinating and gives us gifts every day. Thanksgiving was lovely. And, I am almost ready for Christmas - I am trying to slow and immerse myself in each event and or task.....to be in that moment. How I got to your blog would take me time to figure out. We are both artists and probably through one of the groups. I am so glad to have found you. I am home today and feeling beat up by some bug. Reading your blog has been a real treat. I am now on the other side of 70 and just can't believe that number. The journey has been and I intend to make it continue as a grand adventure. For me as well it is introspective. You have written so beautifully of the things I experience as well. I will continue to read your blog with delight. Edith - I have tried several times to get a reply out to you, And, who knows why I was unable to. I even looked for you on FB. First, I hope that you are feeling better. Your comments so touched me! It does sound as tho we think alike in so many ways. It is an adventure....a whole new decade.... Living it to the fullest with anticipation, eagerness, reflection and probably some fears. I wrote a book, "The Art Of 70 Shirley A. McElhaney" which is selling on Amazon. I am so honored in receiving your lovely note. And, so happy that you will be following my Blog.
