"16th Annual International Collage
Exhibition & Exchange"
This will be the 7th year that I have
participated in the international exhibition
and exchange. The piece to the left is
one of the 13 pieces I will enter. It is
mixed media - primarily encaustic, with
found papers and assembled objects.
Artists from all over the world
enter 13 pieces of their own collage art.
One piece is ear marked by the artist to
exhibition; and one other piece to be sold.
At the end of the exhibition, museums
and galleries international bid on the entire
collection.
The eleven remaining pieces from each
other and become a part of the exchange among the artists. Each artist receiving
a collage from different artists throughout the world.. Therefore, we end up with
receiving a package in the mail of 13 art pieces. The Exhibition and Exchange is
coordinated by Dale Copeland, and takes place in New Zealand. The entire exhibit
will be available in an on-line Gallery. And, I will advise when this is available for
viewing. I know all of participating artists appreciate and are in awe of the
monumental work, time and expertise of Dale Copeland in making this
International Exhibition and Exchange possible to all artists and art lovers and
collectors.
