" LIFE REALLY IS A SLIDE SHOW"
I have, just yesterday and today heard several people remark that they love this time
of the year. A beautiful Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. . . . lots of visiting with family &
friends....... delicious food - which is now becoming too much....... and remembering the past
year - both good and bad.
But, now.........a brand new year .......... a brand new slate. I do also find it exciting! Refreshing ~
I think that Brad Paisley says it best, " Tomorrow is the first blank page of a
365 page blank book. Write a good one! "
Looking ahead to 2016 is rather how I look at turning 70! A brand new decade of new
places I have never been . . . people I have never met . . . new adventures . . . and,
a chance to say things to people that I wish I had said - more times to say " I love you"".
Time to actually have the lunch with a friend - the "now let's get together for
lunch for sure". Time to be spontaneous and call a friend and say "come right over
and let's spend the evening together - not waiting till "everything is "perfect" - the food
the refreshments and the cushions on the couch! A new chance to let the
housework go & take a ride on a country road, lay in the grass and look at the sky,
take afternoons to just relax and read a good book, - LET GUILT GO!!I iNstead of
making and following that "to do list" - ignore it! You will feel very free.
Be crazy - be wild - have and carry out dreams so that they become your
reality. Express yourself through creating.........whether it be painting a canvas -
putting in an herb garden - baking bread - join a group of artists - - - -
NOW THAT WILL REALLY MAKE YOU FREE.......:)))
