This is my piece of art that was
just juried into the "40th Regional
Juried Art Exhibition." Juror was
Linda Benedict-Jones who is the
Curatorial Chair, Exhibitions &
Curator of Photography at The
Carnegie Museum of Art &
teaches at The Carnegie Melton
University.
Out of 310 submissions the works
of 59 artists were choosen.
The Opening Reception is on Sunday, May 19, 2013, 2-4 PM and the public is invited. The Hoyt
Center For The Arts is located at 124 East Leasure Ave., New Castle, Pa.
"Sumi" is created on Oriental rice paper using a rusting and aging technique and also India
Inks.
Local and wonderfully talented artist, Linda R. Brink, has work juried into this exhibition,
as well.
