" Flying To New Zealand"
This is my 8th year participating in the exhibition ~ "The 18th International Collage
Exhibition And Exchange".
I feel connected to it in a very vivid and intimate way. I believe because it was one
year after I had picked up and allowed myself to bare my soul to the world again
by my art. Through this meeting and joining of artistic expression world wide
I began a translation described as "Living" In addition, I have met and made friendships
throughout the world.
In the current exhibit and exchange, as in the past, each artist creates 13 collages
no bigger than 8" x 10". One is offered for sale at the exhibition in Tranaki,
New Zealand. The exhibit and sale will be on the net at
http://virtual.tart.co.nz.
allowing a world wide audience the chance to buy. Later this exhibition will
go to the permanent collection of the Verbeke Foundation in Belgium.
Following the exhibit and sale each artist will receive in the mail 11 collages in
exchange from 11 other artists from somewhere else in the world.
It is with great anticipation that I wait to receive that large envelope of
original art pieces.
